हमारा परिचय
पहचान एक गैर-व्यावसायिक स्वैच्छिक संगठन है जो शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से दिव्यांग बच्चों के कल्याण के लिए समर्पित है। पहचान एजुकेशन सोसाइटी को नवंबर 2014 में हिमाचल प्रदेश पंजीकरण अधिनियम, 2006 और पंजीकृत RPWD अधिनियम, 2016 (पंजीकरण संख्या 43/2015) के तहत एक सोसाइटी के रूप में पंजीकृत किया गया।
पहचान बौद्धिक विकलांगता और अन्य विकारों से ग्रस्त बच्चों की देखभाल और उन्हें विशेष शिक्षा प्रदान करता है। पहचान ऐसे दिव्यांग बच्चों के व्यवहार परिवर्तन के लिए फिजियोथेरेपी, स्पीच थेरेपी, व्यावसायिक चिकित्सा, खेल, योग, नृत्य, शिक्षा, तकनीक और अंतःविषय के विशेषज्ञ शिक्षकों की एक टीम द्वारा व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण की सेवाएं प्रदान करता है।
हम अपने छात्रों को उनके दैनिक जीवन कौशल का प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान करते हैं ताकि वे अपने दैनिक कार्यों जैसे खाना-पीना, कपड़े पहनना, सजना-संवरना और शौचालय आदि के लिए सक्षम हो सकें। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य उनमें यह विश्वास जगाना है कि वे काफी कुशल हैं और अपने दैनिक कार्यों में पहले से कहीं अधिक आत्मविश्वास के साथ भाग ले सकते हैं, ठीक उसी तरह जैसे उनके आयु वर्ग के अन्य सामान्य बच्चे करते हैं और समाज में संतुष्टि के साथ आगे बढ़ सकते हैं एवं अपनी चुनौतियों को स्वीकार कर उनका सामना कर सकते हैं।
Our Introduction
PEHCHAN is a non-commercial voluntary organization dedicated to the welfare of the Physically & Mentally challenged children. PEHCHAN Education Society was registered as a society in November 2014 under the registration of society of Himachal Pradesh registration Act,2006 and registered RPWD Act, 2016 (Reg. No. 43/2015).
Pehchan provides care and specialized education to children with intellectual disabilities and other disorders. Pehchan provides services for behavioral modification to such specially abled children through physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, sports, yoga, dance, education, technology, and vocational training by a team of expert teachers in interdisciplinary fields.
We also provide training to our students in their daily life skills to enable them for their daily chores like eating, dressing, grooming and also toileting etc. The main purpose is to infuse confidence into them about realizing that they are quite efficient and can attend their daily activities with more confidence than ever, same as other ordinary children of their age group and can move in the society with satisfaction, accepting and facing their challenges.
